Huge Busy Weekend!!!
Hart v. Canyon in the CIF Championship Game at the Home Depot Center in Carson. In a tough grinding game, Hart (and Ty) came an inch short of setting up a tie game. Couldn't quite do it. It was a fun night for Dad and Mom to travel 2 hours and 40 minutes down the 405 to be there though... I will fill in more later. Let's just say that Tyler has had quite a few consoling calls and hugs to help him through.
C & B did some Christmas shopping on Saturday which was pretty nice. Ward Christmas party on Saturday night (The Polar Express!). Ham and mashed potatos - good ward dinner.
Busy day at Church on Sunday. Early meetings and late meetings, including a special fireside: Remembering Prophet Joseph. Tyler played the part of a doubting minister and looked awesome. Kirby Heyborne (our director) said that Ty was the eye candy for the girls. Seriously though it was very moving and very professionally done. All the music was period music, played on guitars and instrumentation that would have been available at the time of Joseph's life. It was very uplifting.
